Towngate Fisheries Manager Shortlisted for National Awards

We are delighted to announce that our manager, Joanne has been judged to be one of the Top 10 shortlisted in the ‘Employee of the Year’ category in the National Fish & Chip Awards.

The National Fish & Chip Awards are established and well-regarded industry awards but this is the first year for the ‘Employee of the Year’ category.

Over the last few months, applicants from across the country have been nominated in recognition of their standout contributions to the businesses they work for.  The top ten will now be visited by an expert panel, who will inspect the nominees’ industry knowledge, work ethic, customer service skills and more. The top four will then become finalists, with the winner announced at a glittering Awards ceremony on 28 February 2024 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

We are so pleased that Joanne’s dedication to the job has been acknowledged by the judges and wish her luck in the next round of judging.
