Towngate Fisheries reaches Fry Magazine’s ‘50 Best’ list for 7th year running

Towngate Fisheries, Idle has once again been named as one of the UK’s 50 Best Fish & Chip Takeaway Shops by Fry Magazine.

Fry Magazine is the leading trade magazine for our industry. This is the seventh year in a row, having first made this prestigious list in 2016.

As part of the judging process we were assessed by mystery shoppers across multiple dates. On each visit we were scored across a wide range of aspects including:

• How our food looked and tasted
• Customer service and product knowledge
• Cleanliness of the shop including covid safety
