Towngate sponsors kit for new Idle FC team

Idle FC are a newly formed 11-a-side team for the 2014/15 season, compromising of players from the local community.

They play in the Spen Valley District League on a Saturday afternoon. As all non-profit organisations work, they rely heavily on the support of local businesses to help sponsor their causes and enabling them to run properly, and that’s exactly what Towngate Fisheries have offered Idle FC this season.

Marcus Strudwick Idle FC Club secretary spoke about the sponsorship, "We at Idle FC are very grateful to Mark and Towngate Fisheries for their support to enable us to get training gear, which the team wears on every training session and on match days. The team look very smart and are by far the most professional looking outfit in the league. This was only made possible thanks to the sponsorship from Towngate Fisheries. We hope this partnership will continue for many seasons to come and in return the team are aiming to bring some silverware home at the end of the season to parade at Towngate Fisheries!”
